Féile Representation at Newcastle

We had a visit from special Féile dignitaries last Friday to promote the Féile competition which is being hosted by Galway this June.

It was a very exciting day at school where we got to talk to people like Joe Rabbitte and John McIntyre the Galway Senior Hurling Manager.

We also met with a hurling player from Craughwell, a handball player from Tyrone and representatives from BusÉireann the main sponsor.

We sang The Fields of Athenry loud and proud!!

Lá Fhéile Padraig

There was a fabulous representation of children from Newcastle at the St. Patrick's Day parade. The theme was 'Flora and Fauna' of Newcastle. Well done to all who got involved and the mammys and daddys who did a superb job on the costumes.
