Green Flag Celebration

St. Oliver Plunkett N.S. Receives its Fourth Green Flag

On the 20th of February, in the Galway Bay Hotel, our Principal Miss Murphy was presented with the Green Flag on behalf of our school. Mark Molloy, representing Galway Co. Council made the presentation. Also present at the ceremony were the Mayor of County Galway Sean Canney and the sponsors of the Green Flag, Coca Cola and Repak. Louise Kelly and her mother represented the parents and pupils respectively of the St. Oliver Plunkett N.S. The flag will be raised at a ceremony in the school on Friday the 14th of March at 11.00 p.m. Parents are cordially invited to attend.
