Exhibition of our project at Galway Bay Hotel.

Last Sunday we presented part of our project on the school's 150th celebrations of 'Living and Learning at Newcastle' at the Galway Bay Hotel. Lots of peopled enjoyed looking at our exhibition and thought we had worked very hard to put all the information together.

A big thank you to Stephanie and Emer Quinn who gave an interview to RTE on the day. They will be on a program on The Den this week talking about the exhibition! More TV stars in the making! Well done also to Aoife and Darragh Keane and to Joey Quinn who helped out at the exhibition representing the school with their teachers.

Ceilí Dance

We had a great day today at the Ceilí in the community centre. We showed off all the dances we had learned from our teacher Mary Whyte. Many parents came to watch us. We enjoyed refreshments and treats during a break at the Ceilí. A musician came from Co. Clare to play the music. His music was very lively! Thank you to all who attended and to the boys and girls who participated so well - well done everyone!
