Green School Visitor

Today we had a visitor from the Green Schools Organisation. His name was Graham Clarke. 4th class invited him to look at all their hard work in the garden. He also looked at our WOW day posters in our classroom. We are working hard to keep our school a proud and green school. Well done everybody.

Branar Production

3rd - 6th class attended a Branar Production of 'An Chéad Chéim' at the community centre today. First we had a workshop in the classroom dealing with issues of Bullying and signs to look out for. Afterwards we went to the community centre to watch the show. It was all 'as Gaeilge'.

Athenry Music Day.

Athenry Musical Society invited us and other local school into the church in Athenry for a music workshop. Lots of other schools were there. We got treats afterwards.

Hurling Team

A mix of players from 3rd-6th class who played against Lackagh NS last week. Well done lads!

Gardening Group

Thank you very much to Mary who gives up so much of her time to work in the garden with the children of 4th class. They have been very busy this Spring.

Easter Raffle Winners

We had a big easter raffle in the community centre. Thank you to all parents and friends of the school who donated Easter Eggs, Chocolates, Teddies and Easter Ducks for our prizes. We really appreciate all your support.

Ceili Mór at the Community Centre

3rd to 6th class stepped out and performed the many ceili dances, which they learned from dancing teacher Ken Kelly. Thank you to all parents who came to watch and thank you to Ken for all his hard work.
