Congratulations to Athenry Minor Hurlers!

Diarmuid Burns, trainer of the minor team of 2010 who are county champions with some past pupils who are on the winning team. Diarmuid brought these young hurlers to the school to meet the boys and girls and give them some advice on how to achieve success in hurling and camogie. Their advice was to practice every day and never give up!


Diarmuid has lots of young and enthusiastic fans at Newcastle NS.



The Principal welcomes the past pupils back and congratulates them on bringing the cup back to Athenry for the first time in 15 years. We look forward to the 3 in a row!
